Rad was one of those rare people that was both interesting and interested - every time you had an encounter with him he had a way of making you feel special. Whenever I’d go to Jackson Hole Title & Escrow, I would park on Pearl Street and intentionally cut through the Compass office in hopes of running into Rad, which I usually did. He was always so excited to see me and we’d chat about our weekend adventures, his on a mountain, mine with two young kids. He was always so interested in me and my life - asking about my family, my current listings/transactions, what I was planning for the next weekend / season. Every encounter with him was extremely positive and up lifting. It didn’t matter the mood you were in, after you chatted with Rad your day was immediately better.
Rad was a perfect example of someone who lived his life to the fullest working hard to help his real estate clients, being a great partner to Shawn and Dave as they grew their team to one of the best in the region
and really embracing all the Tetons have to offer by backcountry skiing, mountain biking, any and everything that brought him outdoors in our beautiful mountains - following him on Instagram was so enjoyable and inspirational.
It seems that the most beautiful souls are the ones that are taken from us too soon and I don’t know a more beautiful soul than Rad. For 27 years young, and only a JH resident for a few years, he gave so much to his friends, colleagues and his community.
If all that knew Rad could embody a small fraction of his kindness, empathy, enthusiasm, encouragement, authenticity, sense of humor, determination and genuineness, this world would be an amazing place. I know we will all strive to do what we can to allow Rad’s spirit and goodness to continue to live through all of us.
