I haven’t spent as much time with Rad out of the office as many of you, but we collided on occasion on the street, at a restaurant, near the sports fields, and on a summer single track... When doesn’t he smile and twinkle?
I’m twice Rad’s age and he’s taught me some important things in a short time. He always had such an innocence and vulnerability about him, yet we live in such a callous world. These traits were so refreshing and, frankly, so desirable to be a truly rounded and successful human being. He also taught me about how important is it to be accountable. Rad wouldn’t let anything slip through the cracks, and if he did on an odd chance, we wouldn’t rest until it was done right.
He’s impossible to replace, I’m afraid, but let’s think about him often.
Thank you, Rad, for we were blessed to know you.
