Another great and thoughtful memory I have of Rad is the first time I biked cache to game. Myself, Rad, and his cousin Will (who was classically on a downhill bike), decided to bike this after work one day, just before daylight savings. Meaning, we had about 1.5 hours after work to make it to the game trail without it getting dark. Of course, Rad was miles ahead of both of us and turned off to Game before I could see where he was going. I kept going straight (for quite a long time) until the trail ended and I hit National Forest. At this point it was dark and I was like well, this can't be right...I was honestly frustrated with Rad at this point because I couldn't find him and felt like he left me. I then turned around and started biking back towards the actual turn off to Game. When I got close, Rad was in the middle of the trail screaming my name at the top of his lungs because he was terrified I was lost. He was genuinely so relieved after he saw me, it made me feel so loved and so safe. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to our destination, but everyone made it back all together and safely.
