Rad Spencer was one of the rarest souls that enter into your life and immediately become your friend. It is so hard to describe Rad in words because he was just this spirit that entered you and everyone just loved him from the moment you met him.
The Gillespie’s had the wonderful opportunity to get to know Rad and to watch him grow while he was here in Jackson. His enthusiasm toward living a good life was contagious and made everyone around him glow with happiness and kindness.
Just think of how many different people Rad touched while being here. He has so many friends in this valley and has only been here a few years. Real Estate, Church, Biking, Skiing, Volunteering, Lacrosse, Georgia Bulldogs the list goes on and on.
I am going to miss Rad so much, I am devastated by this news. Christy and I are just sitting around in a daze today and remembering all the great times we had with Rad. Jocelyn this morning came up the stairs with tears in her eyes as she heard the sad news all over the social media platforms that her friends use at school. Rad’s impact and spirit was so large that he made a huge impression with the “teenagers” in our community. Youth ice skating, youth lacrosse, friends with so many people.
